Do your duty and vote!

Thanks to Wilson High School, Wilson Communications, and the Ellsworth County Independent-Reporter for hosting the candidate forum last Thursday. I attended the forum and the following commentary falls into the “for what it is worth category”. First, Sen. Richard Wilborn was a no show. I am inclined to believe that he is taking voters for granted. He needs to explain to voters why he deserves to be re-elected when he has been a member of the Brownback coalition that has placed this state in desperate fiscal straights.
