Defining independent

A fundamental fact regarding political information: Often the most important information is omitted, neglected, forgotten, ignored ... That fact came to mind in reading Mr. Bohnenblust’s letter to the editor in last week’s edition of the Indy. He defended Sen. Wilborn as an independent thinker willing to challenge Gov. Brownback and as a better candidate for the Kansas Senate than his challenger, Levi Morris. Because I regard Sen. Wilborn as a strong ally of the governor and because I support Levi Morris, I did some checking.
