Friday's 2A State volleyball tournament update

EMPORIA --- The defending 2A champion Lady Oilers of Central Plains defeated Wabaunsee, Olathe’s Heritage Christian Academy and Kiowa County to win the “B” pool Friday in the 2A State volleyball tournament at William Allen White Auditorium in Emporia.  

The Lady Oilers will meet North Central Activities Association’s Republic County at 10 a.m. Saturday on court “B”. Flinthills will face Heritage Christian Academy on court “A”.

The winners of the matches will compete in the championship match about 25 minutes following the semi-final matches on court “A” for the State championship. The vanquished will play for third place on court “B”.
