Service and Sacrifice

It was an unseasonably warm fall night Nov. 14 as more than 400 students, patrons and teachers gathered at Kanopolis Middle School to view the fifth grade’s Veteran’s Appreciation Project, an annual event at the school for the past five years. The fifth grade classes of Judith Brown, Jason Maisog and the event’s organizer, Tracy Wacker participated.
