Lemley pleads guilty

Former Kanopolis businessman Allen Eugene Lemley pleaded guilty Dec. 14 in Ellsworth County District Court to two counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child under 14. The proceeding took just 12 minutes. Lemley, 54, the former owner of Al’s Pitstop in Kanopolis, will be sentenced at 9 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, in Ellsworth County District Court.
