Smoky Hills distributes $80,000 in grants

The Smoky Hills Charitable Foundation has distributed $80,000 in spring grants to Ellsworth County organizations and projects.

Here are the recipients and their projects:

• Msgr. John F. McManus American Legion Post 262, Wilson — $3,900 for electric stairlift to help the American Legion veterans, Sons of the American Legion, and the women’s auxiliary with access to the basement of the American Legion building.
