Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 on Monday, May 22nd, 2017 and then publicly opened and read at the Office of the City Administrator (121 W First Street – Ellsworth, KS 67439) for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment and performing all work necessary to construct the Entrance Road.

A complete set of bid documents can be seen or purchased for a non-refundable fee on-line at www.drexeltech.com in their eDistribution plan room. Bid documents will be shipped only if the requesting party assumes responsibility for all related charges. Corporate, certified or cashier’s checks shall be made payable to Drexel Technologies, Inc.
A prebid conference will not be held for this project.
Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the amount of five (5) percent of the total amount of the bid. The bid guaranty may be by certified check or bid bond made payable to the City of Ellsworth.
Bids may be held by the City of Ellsworth for a period not to exceed 90 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of evaluating bids prior to award of contract.
The right is reserved, as the City of Ellsworth may require, to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bids received.
This project is subject to the following provisions:
