Kanopolis lives Days’ theme

KANOPOLIS — Cherie Sauers considers the St. Ignatius of Loyola Church an example of “Our Past Makes Us Strong,” the theme for the 2017 Fort Harker Days.

“Just look at that church,” said Sauers, who served as Kanopolis mayor for 19 years. “That church is still the foundation for the community.”
