Run raises $9,000 for SLC

The 18th annual Run for the Soul motorcycle rally roared through Ellsworth Saturday to benefit the Ellsworth Correctional Facility Spiritual Life Center.

Dale Bailey, prison chaplain, said there were 81 bikes and 44 volunteers at the event, which raised a total of $9,000 towards the center’s program needs and a future expansion project.
