County holds line on budget

Ellsworth County’s proposed budget for the 2018 fiscal year is $8,072,898 — possibly lowering property taxes for some Ellsworth County residents.

Results of the proposed budget will be that taxes will go down; however, with property valuation up 3 percent countywide the decreased taxes will be countered by the increase in valuations.
