NOTICE OF HEARING

THE STATE OF KANSAS TO ALL PERSONS CONCERNED:
You are hereby notified that a Petition has been filed in this Court by Marcia Brill, a beneficiary of Harold E. Thomas, deceased, praying that:  the foreign will of Harold E. Thomas, deceased, dated September 3, 1982, be admitted to probate and record in this Court; no administration of the Estate is necessary; the will be construed, and the following Kansas real estate owned by the decedent, situated in Ellsworth County, Kansas:
A. Real Estate of the estimated value of $10,000 situated in Ellsworth County, Kansas, and described as follows:
1) .02343740 Royalty Interest in the ‘Wilkens’ lease, located in Section Eighteen (18), Township Seventeen (17), Range Nine (9) West of the Sixth P.M.; and
2) .00234380 Overriding Royalty Interest in the ‘Schroeder’ lease, located in Section Thirty (30), Township Seventeen (17), Range Nine (9) West of the 6th P.M. both in Ellsworth County, Kansas
You are required to file your written defenses thereto on or before November 14, 2017, at 10:00 o’clock a.m. in the District Court, in the city of Ellsworth, Ellsworth County, Kansas, at which time and place the cause will be heard.  Should you fail therein, judgment and decree will be entered in due course upon the Petition.
