Christmas Store delivers again

The assistant carried three large, plastic bags across the American Legion’s dining hall without obvious effort. After setting them down, she overheard mention of boxes, on the opposite side of the room. “Oh, the big boxes,” she exclaimed, turning on her heel to retrieve them.

A voice stopped her. “Maybe we’ll leave those there,” came a voice. “We don’t know what we’re going to do with those yet.”
