Ellsworth hires cook after temporary suspension of meals

The Ellsworth Senior Center plans to start serving meals again Monday, Aug. 27, after the loss of a cook caused a temporary stop to the hot, homestyle meals the center provides to the community’s elderly residents.

Butch Brown accepted the cook’s job Tuesday following interviews with several candidates for the job.
