TAKE NOTICE that a pleading seeking relief against you has been filed in the above-entitled action.  The nature of the relief being sought is as follows: termination of your parental rights to the above-named child.
You are required to file your written defenses thereto on or before April 13, 2016, at 3:00 P.M. in the Ellsworth County District Court, Ellsworth County Courthouse, 210 N. Kansas Avenue, Ellsworth, Kansas 67439, at which time and place the cause will be heard.

RESOLUTION # 2016-0003

A RESOLUTION FINDING THAT THE STRUCTURE LOCATED AT NORTH
TWENTY-FIVE FEET (N 25’) OF LOT THREE (3) AND ALL OF LOT TWO (2), BLOCK FIVE IN CHURCH AND THOMAS ADDITION, CITY OF HOLYROOD,
ELLSWORTH COUNTY, KANSAS,
COMMONLY KNOWN AND REFERRED TO AS 508 NORTH CHARLES, HOLYROOD, KANSAS IS UNSAFE AND DANGEROUS AND DIRECTING THAT THE STRUCTURE
BE REMOVED AND THE PREMISES
MADE SAFE AND SECURE.

WHEREAS, the Enforcing Officer of the City of Holyrood, Kansas did on the 9th day of December, 2015 file with the governing body of said City a statement in writing that a certain structure, hereinafter described, was unsafe and dangerous; and,

CHARTER ORDINANCE NO. 246

A CHARTER ORDINANCE EXEMPTING THE CITY
OF LORRAINE, KANSAS FROM
THE PROVISIONS OF L. 2015, CHAPTER 88,
SECTION 71, RELATING TO THE FILLING
OF GOVERNING BODY VACANCIES.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF LORRAINE, KANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Lorraine, Kansas, by virtue of the power vested in it by Article 12, Section 5 of the Constitution of the State of Kansas, hereby elects and does exempt itself and make inapplicable to it L. 2015, Chapter 88, Section 71, relating to the filling of governing body vacancies, which enactment applies to this city, but does not apply uniformly to all cities.
SECTION 2. This Charter Ordinance shall be published once each week for two (2) consecutive weeks in the official city newspaper, the Ellsworth County Independent Reporter.
