SUMMARY: The Rural Housing Service (RHS) has made a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) with respect to a request for possible financing assistance to the City of Wilson for the construction of the City of Wilson Street Project in Ellsworth County, Kansas.

In compliance with the provisions of K. S. A. 25-2310, notice is hereby given that the books for registration of voters for the PRIMARY ELECTION will be open at the following places during their regular hours as specified at their place of business.

    Ellsworth City    County Clerk’s Office
                    
At 5:00 p.m. on the 12th day of July 2016, the books for registration will close and will remain closed until the 3rd day of August 2016.
A citizen of the United States who is eighteen (18) years of age and upward, or who will have attained the age of eighteen (18) years at the next election, must register before he or she can vote. Registration closes twenty-one (21) days prior to every election.

RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF ELLSWORTH COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AUTHORIZING PARTICIPATION
IN RURAL OPPORTUNITY ZONE STUDENT LOAN
REPAYMENT PROGRAM

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF ELLSWORTH COUNTY, KANSAS,
Section 1. Pursuant to K.S.A. 2015 Supp. 74-50,223, the Board of County Commissioners expressed its intent to participate in the Rural Opportunity Zone (ROZ) student loan repayment program.
Section 2. Ellsworth County has designated a Rural Opportunity Zone pursuant to K.S.A. 2015 Supp. 74-50,222.
Section 3. Ellsworth County Commissioners herby obligate Ellsworth County to participate in the ROZ student loan repayment program as provided by K.S.A. 2015 Supp. 74-50,223 for a period of five years, which shall be irrevocable.
