Emerald Ball Fundraiser planned

By Alan Rusch

HOLYROOD — For just the second time in four years, another Emerald Ball and Auction is planned at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, April 23, at the American Legion building in Holyrood to raise funds to help complete a worthwhile community project. In 2012, the first Emerald Ball and Auction raised $32,000 to help refurbish and restore Holyrood City Park. Emerald Ball committee members hope to duplicate that success to benefit the restoration of the 1887 Santa Fe Depot in Holyrood.
