2016 Rodeo Run a soggy success

Over 120 runners and walkers took to the streets and Pioneer Trail of Marquette during the Second Annual Rodeo Run Saturday, Aug. 6. The Rodeo Run included a 5K Race, a 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk, and a Kid’s Short Course race for children 8 and under.

Deputy Warden appointed at Ellsworth Correctional Facility

Douglas Lawson, the current Deputy Superintendent of Larned Juvenile Correctional Facility (LJCF), has been appointed to the Deputy Warden position at Ellsworth Correctional Facility (ECF). Doug will begin his duties at ECF on September 11, 2016.  He will be splitting his duties between ECF and LJCF until LJCF closes. Watch the 8/11 issue of the I-R for more details.
