Lady Bearcats are a seasoned squad

By Mark McCoy

The Ellsworth Lady Bearcat varsity basketball team will return with a seasoned squad as compared to the two previous seasons, which found the Lady ‘Cats sparse on upper classmen. The core of the Lady ‘Cat team has been tempered in the crux of competition, having had to compete on the varsity squad those two seasons against some of the toughest girls’ basketball teams in the state — as opposed to playing in junior varsity games that normally play freshmen and sophomores.
