Thanksgiving Blessings

By LINDA MOWERY-DENNING

Senior centers eye cutback in days

Senior centers in Ellsworth, Wilson and Holyrood could be forced to cut the days they’re open from five to four if the North Central-Flint Hills Area Agency on Aging doesn’t find about $14,000 a year to pay for mandated health insurance for two cooks who already are covered under other policies. A cutback also would affect home-delivered Meals on Wheels, which also is part of the Friendship Meals Program.
