The Ellsworth-Kanopolis Chamber of Commerce has cancelled the Follow the Star event for Monday, Nov. 30. It will not be rescheduled.

USD 327 looks at uniform replacement

The Ellsworth-Kanopolis-Geneseo School Board tackled athletic uniform replacement at Monday’s meeting at the district office in Ellsworth. Ellsworth Junior/Senior High School principal and former athletic director Ken Winhold submitted a plan from current athletic director Ron Davis Jr. to rotate uniform replacements — much like the board’s five-year capital outlay plan.
